First Female Eagle Scout in Long Beach: We want to congratulate Lily Morse on earning the rank of Eagle Scout. Lily is an extraordinarily talented young woman. Her recognition comes 100 years to the month of the council's first Eagle Scout in 1920. Click the red button to read Lily's story.
This Saturday, Nov 14: Scouts will be out in their neighborhoods collecting food. Can we count on your help collecting food for others? See drop off locations here. Every year, Scouts gather food to benefit others in our community.
TONIGHT: We are hosting a Scouting update for all parents and Scout leaders. See Zoom call info here. We will also be live-streaming via YouTube. Join us at 7pm for an update on events, Merit Badge days, activities, plan for 2021, and more.
Camp Tahquitz saw its first recent snowfall this past weekend. Newly minted Tahquitz Director Joe Warner and his wife were welcomed with a nice dusting of snow all over camp. See photos here.
Heads up: Our Scout Shop and Scout Office will be closed the week of Thanksgiving. Beginning November 30, the Long Beach Scout Shop will be curbside pickup only. Read more details here. You can call or email anytime M-F 9am to 5pm.
