What's happening at HF?

We're in the lull of summer here at Holy Family, the last few weeks before the campus comes alive again with students and classes and activities. We have a few great events in the works for the fall, details coming soon! Stay tuned for updates and thanks for keeping in touch.

"The following colleges, in other words, turn out graduates who exceed the averages for their peer groups by the widest margin."

That's our alumni they're talking about! Holy Family is ranked at #4 on Time's list of the 25 Colleges That Add the Most Value!

Legacy Program

Through the Legacy program, the Classes of 2014 and 1964 teamed up to make a donation to Holy Family. This gift was used to reupholster the chairs in CC115! We are so grateful for their generosity and efforts to make campus even better. Thank you, 2014 and 1964 alumni!!!

More golf- Check out The Barclays!

Golf's FedEx Cup Playoffs start with The Barclays (August 19-24), and you and your friends can be there...for less!  Through TICKETS Fore CHARITY, Holy Family University is offering specially-priced WEEKLY TICKETS...for just $125!  That's a huge value, and each Weekly Ticket is actually 6 separate tickets for the Tuesday practice round, Wednesday pro-am, and the Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday championship rounds...that you can use yourself or give to friends.

Tickets are available on Ticketmaster. Enter the number of tickets you wish to purchase in the box to the left of the ticket price (which also includes taxes and reduced Ticketmaster fees) and be sure to type Holy Family's unique discount code (case sensitive; all caps, please!) SPIKES14 in the box containing the yellow lock symbol that is just to the RIGHT of the ticket price.  Entering the code designates Holy Family University as the benefiting charity and guarantees that the University will receive 75% of the purchase price.

This special pricing for The Barclays is available through Sunday, August 17.  We hope we'll see you there!

Reaffirmation of Investment Rating

Holy Family University President Sister Maureen McGarrity, CSFN, PhD, is pleased to announce that the University's public investment grade rating has been reaffirmed during an annual review by the Fitch Rating Agency. This review and determination by Fitch Ratings reinforces the strong foundation that has been established for financial stability, future growth, and development.

Fitch Ratings credit ratings provide an opinion on the relative ability of an entity to meet its financial commitments, such as interest and repayment of principal commitments on issued bonds. The Board of Trustees and Sister Maureen are grateful to all of those individuals whose diligence and hard work were essential to the success of the review and to the University community as a whole for their dedication in effecting the changes needed to sustain this rating. Accomplishments such as this clearly demonstrate our commitment to the mission and underscore once again the "value of family."
Bensalem Business Association

State Representative Gene DiGirolamo will be the speaker for the monthly meeting of the Bensalem Business Association, which will be held at Holy Family Woodhaven at 6:30 PM on Wednesday, August 13.  Any interested members of our University community are invited to attend.  Tickets aren't needed, but please contact Bob Wetzel if you would like to attend.
