In an effort to adhere to the directive from NC State Extension,  Onslow County 4-H has had to cancel or postpone our in-person 4-H activities, projects and events for the next 60 days and/or until further notice. Please look to our website and  4-H  facebook page for updates and online learning opportunities.



4-H CLUB ACTIVITIES

Creative Friendship 4-H Club
made mini-greenhouses and decorated blown-out eggs          (a German Easter tradition).

4-H Online Re-Enrollment Continues

January 1st marked the beginning of 4H Online re-enrollment. Please take the time to update your 4H Online profile. If you've previously created a profile in the 4H Online system, just log-on and select "Re-enroll for 2020". Remember that enrollment is a requirement for participation in 4-H activities, events, programs and trips.
 
4-H Dairy Project
4-H is hands-on! 4-Her's got to feel, touch, and smell the various components of a dairy cows diet. 
Marti Day, Area Specialized Agent - Dairy - gives a lesson on nutrition.

4-H Health Rocks!

As participants of the 4-H Health Rocks curriculum, students from Jacksonville Christian Academy learn about substance abuse awareness and the confidence from various life skills from the lessons. Here, the students experience living with restricted airways caused by prolonged cigarette smoking and other inhaled substances.
