TITHE.LY-  OUR GIVING APP!

This year we are excited to offer a new and convenient way of giving using the TITHE.LY app.

What is Tithe.ly?
Tithe.ly Church Giving is a cloud-based funds collection application which offers a mobile app that allows church members to donate funds in a variety of ways and provides reports, alerts and donation tracking. iOS and Android apps are available.
Users can configure the Tithe.ly mobile application for their church using logos, graphics and brand colors. Mobile giving options include fund transfer using saved cards, ACH payments, a text-to-give feature and an option that allows members to cover transaction fees. Donors have access to records of all their contributions. The iPhone app can even send weekly giving reminders.

The Pipe Organ Project

Exciting times are at hand for the Pipe Organ Project!

As of the end of 2019, we had collected $188,888 and we still had $74,354 in uncollected pledges for the Pipe Organ Project. That's a total of $263,242 with more coming in every day!

We are winding up a successful  Sounds in the Sanctuary concert series, and the Queen of Hearts drawings have been a great fundraiser. Our current Queen of Hearts raffle is going well with a current pot of over $20,500, which is sure to increase when the drawings resume.

The Diocesan Standing Committee has approved our loan, which gives us the green light to proceed with the organ restoration work.

Currently, access to the church is restricted. The local contractor is ready to begin, and work on the project should commence as soon as access to the church is available.

Challenges have presented themselves with the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. The Queen of Hearts drawings are temporarily suspended, and the Notre Dame Cathedral Choir Concert will need to be rescheduled. The cancellation of the April Notre Dame Choir Concerts has negatively impacted our short term fundraising, as has the temporary suspension of drawings at the Barrel House. Efforts are underway to set a new date for the concert. The Queen of Hearts drawings are expected to resume as soon as the restaurants are reopened.

What can I do to help?
1. Next time you make a purchase through Amazon, please consider using Smile.amazon.com and link to our Pipe Organ Restoration Project, Friends of Casavant 3062, our registered charity. Click HERE.
2. If you haven't already, consider what you might be able to give to this important campaign and please turn in your pledge cards as soon as possible.  Any questions, please contact Sue or Stan Jasiak:  suzannej17@comcast.net or (708) 267 2547

Emmanuel Family Portrait Project

In joyous celebration of the many unique individuals and families in our congregation, we are excited to announce a new photo documentation project of the identity of our members, new and old.

We kindly ask your assistance. Please send a photograph of yourself and/or your family
to imagineartstudio@sbcglobal.net. WE ARE LOOKING FOR 100% PARTICIPATION. You and your loved ones can look forward to your image and words becoming part of a display, to be located just outside the rector's office.
(Christmas card photos, vacation photos, photos taken at church... all acceptable!)

3 EASY STEPS:
1. Take or find a photo of you and/or your family. (Digital or printed)
2. Complete this sentence: "We/I belong to Emmanuel because..."
3. Email your response and photo to Vestry Member Rachel Weaver Rivera at imagineartstudio@sbcglobal.net, text it to her at (773) 203-6659, give it to her in person, or leave it in her mail box in the mail room.

Sounds

Dear Fellow Emmanuelites:

We are saddened to report that due to the COVID-19 crisis, the Notre Dame Cathedral Choir must postpone their US tour this coming April. We are working with Notre Dame Cathedral to set a new date in April 2021 as part of our Sounds in the Sanctuary series and hope to have information on this very soon. Please know that if you have purchased tickets, your seats will be reserved for these rescheduled performances.

By postponing this concert, we are facing a significant loss of income. Your support is vital at this difficult time. You can help us by holding on to your tickets for the rescheduled date. If you prefer to donate your tickets, please contact Judy at admin@eeclg.org

We hope you will also consider making a donation to help mitigate the economic impact. Your generosity is deeply appreciated. Please consider making a donation today!

Sincerely,

Friends of Casavant 3062
