It is with great sadness that I inform the congregation of the passing of Yitzchak Raz, father of congregant Liran Raz, father-in-law of Rebekah Raz and grandfather to Annabelle, Liam and Shailee. The son of Holocaust Survivors, Yitzchak was the President of the association of engineers and architects in Israel and for decades led the federation of engineers, architects, and academic professionals in the technological industries. He was a staunch advocate for peace and security for the state of Israel. He was key to ending the raging inflation in Israel leading to what we know today as StartUp Nation. Funeral services and Shiva will be held in Israel.
