Mayor's Minute: Help Determine MoVal's
Path Forward in 2020
In this month's Mayor's Minute , Dr. Yxstian Gutierrez, Mayor of Moreno Valley, has an easy way for you to help City leaders understand your service priorities for 2020 and beyond: Take a quick, one-page survey on the City website and "Join the Conversation."
Telephone Town Hall Meeting
Set for 6 p.m., Wed., Jan. 15
At 6 p.m. on Wednesday, January 15, your phone will ring. Mayor Gutierrez will be on the line leading a Telephone Town Hall Meeting , ready to answer your questions about City services and how we can work together to make MoVal an even better place to live, work, raise a family and retire.

The City will call registered participants who can then either ask a question in English or Spanish or just listen for all or part of the hour-long event.

Recycle Your Christmas Tree Through Jan. 8
Wait! Don't put that Christmas tree in the trash. Recycle it! Waste Management will convert your tree into useful mulch. Just remove everything from the branches, and any metal stands, and put your tree out next to your other bins for collection on your regular pickup day. Trees taller than six feet need to be cut in half. Flocked trees (sprayed with that white stuff) will be collected, but can't be recycled. Waste Management will pick up trees through January 8 (two weeks after Christmas).
