Visit the Morris Park BID at 966 Morris Park Avenue and learn more about the Plastic Ban Ban & Paper Bag 5c Fee that will be implemented from March 1, 2020. We will have special guest on site from the NYC Department of Sanitation, Pedro Suarez, Senior Partnerships & Outreach Specialist, Commercial Programs, Bureau of Recycling and Sustainability - to answer all community questions.

Thank you to all community members visiting the Morris Park BID Open House, February 3-6, 2020!

We much appreciate all community members visiting our office and learning about the forthcoming Plastic Bag Ban, and about the work of the Morris Park BID in the community!

The BID lime-green shopping totes were a hit with our over 100 visitors. We also distributed an additional 50 totes to the lovely ladies members of the Morris Park Community Association on Monday, February 10!

Neighborhood 360° Fellows help community-based organizations complete commercial revitalization projects and connect local stakeholders to city resources.

The Fellows are paid by the NYC Department of Small Business Services (SBS) and are full-time community development professionals, community organizers, or planners.

Fellows are joining a network of leaders prepared with commercial revitalization expertise and experience in New York City neighborhoods.

Artists of Morris Park

We are happy to announce a new BID program providing an opportunity to Morris Park area artists to exhibit their work in the BID office at 966 Morris Park Avenue. Opening the series, our first spring exhibition featuring mixed media by Lovie Pignata, local entrepreneur and multi-faceted artist, showing re-interpretations of lunch box aluminum containers. Tuesday, March 19, 2020, 5pm.
