A Message of the President

There are many issues that we face every day as we maneuver our way through this health/economic crisis. I don’t know about you, but my email inbox is seeing a 10x increase in messages, most of which have a “COVID-19 Important Information” subject line.

So, how are we supposed to know which information is truly crucial? And, how do we assess the accuracy of this information? We have challenged our communications folks to take on that critical function for us, and then post current information on the COVID-19 Resource Page on the our website.

Join us for a webinar that will give special attention to minority-owned operations to learn what small businesses and nonprofits need to know about the upcoming Paycheck Protection Program. Tip: Talk to your lender now about loan modifications available due to the Coronavirus (many banks are making no-cost modifications available but you typically must specifically ask. (Ex: Interest-only payments for a few months, months of payments pushed off to end of the loan, etc.) Your Lender does not want to see you go out of business, talk to them now!
