Good News from Dade County!

Friends,

Save the Date! March 3, 2020 marks the date of our Community Engagement Meeting at 6:00 p.m. at Dade County High School. This year we will be updating our Strategic Plan as well as Facilities Plan. We want your input as we plan for our students' future needs.

We had a GaDOE Federal Programs Review as well as a Facilities Review in the last two weeks. We had excellent outcomes and we are proud and happy to report this to you. Congratulations to Federal Programs Director Josh Ingle and Facilities Supervisor John Smith for their leadership and hard work along with our entire team!

Speaking of being proud....How about Girls Basketball and Wrestling going to State this week? Our wrestlers came home with 3rd place Overall and three State Champions! Congratulations, Coach Logan, Coach Poston and Teams!

Congratulations to our State Champions: Cayden Cooper, Dakota Johnson and Heidi Raines! Congratulations to Ian Howell and Cody Williams for coming home with 2nd place and Jake Gatlin with 4th place! And, our wonderful cheerleaders were there to support the team! Thank you, Coach Hurst and Cheerleaders!

A gentle reminder that students are out of school on Monday, February 17th due to Presidents Day and Tuesday, February 18th due to Inservice Day for Teachers.

With warmest regards,
