Celebrating our Staff on the Front-Lines
We would like to thank our staff for their hard work and dedication through all of the challenges presented by the pandemic. Your dedication, perseverance and creativity have had a huge impact on the people we serve, and nobody should underestimate all that you do to support them - both in the everyday and in helping to make their dreams to come true. You bring your spirit, energy and, yes, joy with you every day to the front-lines. Thank you for all that you do!

Although special days and weeks are set aside to celebrate and acknowledge support workers, our staff do great things every single day. They change lives and help make dreams come true!

And Behind the Lines...
Of course, we must not forget CLTH staff who are behind the lines! Staff at our administrative offices have also been working incredibly hard to juggle their everyday responsibilities along with the challenges and chaos courtesy of the Covid-19.

Working miracles at the best of times, our Administrative Professionals have come up with incredibly creative ways to support the front-lines while also making sure that those proverbial i's are dotted and t's are crossed. Thank you for your Herculean efforts, and for helping us all to have a little bit of fun despite the stress and uncertainty of these times. We couldn't do it without you!
We have loads of photos to share in this e-bulletin because we have been very busy this summer!

Learn about Life Share
Learn about Life Share by watching this video prepared by Developmental Services Ontario. Life Share (previously Home Share) offers an alternative to the adults we support who find it difficult or lonely to live on their own.

Adult services like Life Share must be accessed through Developmental Services Ontario (DSO). If you are interested in inviting someone into your home as a Life Share Provider, click here.
Some we know are coming to visit and some surprise us! Either way, we love animals big and small, furry and feathered.

Brightening our Days
Positive Vibe's Sunflower Contest

Thank you to everyone who participated in this summer's sunflower contest, hosted by the Positive Vibes Committee.

Sunflowers of all shapes and sizes were grown from pot to garden this year despite chipmunks, squirrels, bunnies, and in some cases, deer looking for a snack.
Great gardening sports all around, thanks for taking part.

Celebrating Walkabout Farm
It would be hard to find anywhere else that brings about more smiles and warm fuzzies than Walkabout Farm Therapeutic Riding Association. So in recognition the fun we have had and the many things that we have learned at Walkabout, we would like to pay tribute to to them with this great photo collage. Thank you to all of the teachers at Walkabout, both two - and four-legged! (Check out their videos here.)
