Touko Laaksonen's work with the famous signature "Tom of Finland" became the emblem of a whole generation of men and Tom helped ignite the flames of the gay revolution.
Through 7th December - Japan
The exhibition features a selection of 30 historical works, ranging from 1946 to 1989, covering the artist’s entire professional career.
11th - 13th December - ONLINE
This digital art fair aims to support artists by providing them an avenue to present and sell their works. The Festival will feature artist “booths” and virtual events throughout the weekend including Life Drawing Sessions.
Through 19th December - Germany
For Tom of Fin­land’s centen­nial, Galerie Judin is devot­ing a museal exhi­bi­tion with more than 60 loans — many of them on view for the very-first time.
A comprehen­sive exhi­bi­tion cat­a­logue of these forma­tive Ger­man years is now available.

“Without the photographs I don’t think there would have been a Tom of Finland. Tom took care to bring the photographs over to TOM House in Los Angeles,” says curator Berndt Arell.

With text authorized by the artist himself a few months before his death, and published in partnership with Tom of Finland Foundation, this illustrated biography reveals a life of art, pleasure and liberation.
The catalogue from An Ode to Tom is fully bilingual and includes an introduction by the gallery director, Shai Ohayon, among a reflection by Georgie Ichikawa, the chair person of Mr. Gay Japan about LGBTQ rights in Japan, and illustrations from the artists.
An interview with Henning von Berg: Huge muscles, massive bulges and monumental cocks. Tom of Finland has achieved world fame and a current exhibition in Berlin, Germany shows the artist’s work.
David Graver and Evan Orensten explore Tom's living legacy at Foundation House for Cool Hunting with photos by Josh Rubin. Tom of Finland had a multi-decade career that did not end with his passing in 1991.

As we continue to build the virtual space for the 25th Tom of Finland Art & Culture Festival, we are reminiscing on times spent in person with all of you. This weekend, those who visit the World of TOM Patreon universe can enjoy nearly 50 select images and a behind the scenes video of the 2014 event at TOM House.
FOUNDATION UPDATE
