Soup”er Bowl
Sunday, February 23rd
(after 10:30 church service)
It’s chilly outside but warm in the Good Shepherd Fellowship Hall on Sunday, Feb. 23! It’s time for our annual “Soup”er Bowl cook off! We are looking for chef’s to compete as well as donations of breads and desserts.
What is the “Soup”er Bowl?
It’s a friendly competition among school families and members of the congregation to see who can make the best soup. You make the soup at home & bring it in a slow cooker to the fellowship hall on Sunday, February 23rd before the end of late church service.
Tables will be set up and you will be assigned a number. There will be outlets to plug in your slow cooker to keep your soup warm throughout the “Soup”er Bowl. We’ll supply the spoons and cups (with your assigned #) People vote on ballots for their favorite soup. It’s a fun family event filled with food.
If soup making isn’t your thing – you could make a salad, bread or dessert!
There is a sign-up poster in the fellowship hall if you’re interested in participating.
Come and join the fun as we sample soup from competitors all hoping to win the “Best Soup” traveling GIANT SPOON award!
