Circus Juventas classes cancelled Saturday, November 21. The building will be closed to the public through December 18.
Circus Juventas students, families, and community,

As many of you may be aware, on November 18 Governor Walz announced a four-week “dial back” for the state of Minnesota which will last from Saturday, November 21 through Friday, December 18. We support all efforts by the state to keep our community safe and healthy through this trying time, but unfortunately for impacted businesses such as ours, these mandates come with a heavy financial toll. We regret to announce that our holiday performance, scheduled for December 5-13 will be postponed. The CJ team is putting great effort into creating a plan which will allow us to present this production once we are permitted to do so by the state. If you have purchased tickets for the show, we ask for your patience as we work through our plan.

The annual CJ Gala, scheduled for Friday, December 4, is currently being reimagined. Updates on the status of the gala will be shared early next week.

Classes for Saturday, November 21 will be cancelled, but due to the unique nature of our 2020 schedule, no other classes are impacted at this time. We were already slated to take a six-week break from classes during December. We are anticipating that after the four-week dial back, this infection surge will have abated, and the numbers will have returned to a level which will permit us resume our classes as normal. Therefore, we are asking our winter session families to hold tight and stay healthy.

We will be sending updates over the next four weeks via email and our weekly newsletter, so keep an eye on your inbox. Thank you again for all you have done over the past few months to help make CJ a safe place to train. While the spread in the community has been explosive, the numbers within our student body have been remarkably low, which is a testament to the commitment to safety and well-being CJ families have instilled in your students.

Together, we will weather this storm and remain CJ strong!

Sincerely,
Dan and Betty Butler, and the CJ Staff and Coaches
