and Storyteller,
Ken Waldman

Join us for a truly unique performance combining Appalachian-style string-band music, original poetry,
and smart storytelling.

Alaskan fiddler, writer, and storyteller Ken Waldman will take us from the beauty and grandeur of Grand County to the beauty and grandeur of Alaska.
A prolific author and accomplished musician, Ken's performance
is sure to be delightfully entertaining.

with Barbe Chambliss

Professional mediator, psychotherapist and author of Women Peacemakers: What We Can Learn from Them,
Barbe Chambliss will speak at the Moab Library on bringing forth conscious acts of peace in a progressively chaotic world, and discuss stories of the women change agents
featured in her book.

Summer Reading Challenge for Adults

Why should kids have all the fun? Adults can log time spent reading and complete activities to earn virtual badges, and tickets for awesome prize drawings. Each participant will receive a newly designed Cosmo the Library Cat sticker
and a yummy treat just for registering, and a completed challenge
earns you a bonus prize as well!

Castle Valley Library/Town Hall Closed to Public
Due to rising Covid case numbers, the Castle Valley Library and Town Hall will be closed to the public beginning June 7th*. But don't despair! You can make an appointment for in-person browsing, or use Ms. Jenny's excellent

The Library Book Bike Rides Again!
Look for us at Arts & Ag at Swanny Park (shade! cool, green grass!) on June 2nd.
The library's Book Bike will be there to represent, offering free books, wifi and cheerful vibes.
Arts & Ag (formerly called the Market on Center) will be held at Swanny Park on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays from May through October, 5 pm to dusk.
Free Self-Test @ Home Kits:
Covid-19 Antigen Rapid Test
The library still has lots of free Covid-19 tests for you to take home! These quick and easy kits provide results in 15 minutes.
One box per person, while supplies last.

Grab and go Kids Cafe meals end on Friday, June 3rd. Starting Saturday, June 4th, Kids Cafe will be served in-person in the library's large meeting room from 12:30-1:30 pm Mon-Sat.
