IASWECE Newsletter
September 2021
Dear colleagues and friends around the world,

As we very slowly emerge from the pandemic, we want to reflect on the aspects of our pedagogical life that have most affected our children and communities, and look to the future with positive inner strength, focusing on how we can balance the damage through what we have learned during this difficult situation.
For this edition of the newsletter, we have selected articles on aspects of this learning that we hope will bring inspiration to your work and relationships with children, parents and educators:

-How can we heal through the senses?
-How can we work with the speech difficulties of the children?
-How can we enhance the relationships in our communities and organizations?
-How can we recover and deepen in our relationship with nature?

You will also find an interesting report from the Chinese Waldorf-Montessori Educators Conference and some memories of our dear Freya Jaffke, as well as the programs for the conferences, “Media and Wellbeing: Meeting the World” and Care 1 "I feel good in your eyes".

Please do forward this newsletter to all your colleagues and parents. We hope that it will bring new positive impulses for your work.

Wishing you all the best,

Lourdes Tormes

Nature as a Beneficial and Positive Force
Children respond to the external environment through all their senses, with their whole being, and experience life.

Greetings from Finland: What is essential and what can be one differently?
What is really essential in our daily routines? Do we really need everything we offer the children? Do we dare to make changes? How can we allow parents to become more involved in our activities?
