He was born over 2,000 years ago, not in a fancy hospital, but a small stable. He grew up in a small town without fanfare. He was not famous during his lifetime. His message was not one of riches and power but love. It was not of condemnation but hope and caring for others.
He is still with us today, not in body but in spirit deep within. Peace on Earth & Good Will Toward Men starts with each of us. Let us embrace this thought as a personal philosophy and live it out.
Yes, we will stumble just like a small child learning to walk. Our creator gave us the ability to learn from our experiences. When we stumble, we need to remember the birth we celebrate this week and his message that lives on, even to this day. Let each of us spread that peace and love, not only during the Christmas season, but each and every day of our lives.
