Dear Power Ranch Residents,

Your safety and well-being remains one of our highest priorities. We are continually evaluating our community operations in light of the rapidly changing dynamics of COVID-19. In accordance with recent Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommendations to minimize potential health risks for community members, staff, vendors and guests, the Board of Directors and management have determined it is prudent to further restrict amenity access and operations.

What does that mean for residents?

* Association Offices: Effective at 3pm today, Tuesday, March 18, and until further notice, PRCA offices will be closed to visitors in order to reduce the number of interpersonal contacts day-to-day in the hope of mitigating the possible spread of the coronavirus. Members of our team will still be on-site to assist you but we are strongly encouraging residents to call or email our team if you have any questions before visiting the office for routine business matters:
o Phone: 480.988.0960
o Grounds Services: 480.229.4051 or 480.216.9141

* Community Pools: Effective immediately, all five pools are closed and will remain so until further notice.

We are also strongly encouraging residents to avoid using amenities such as pool restrooms, tot lots, tennis courts, etc. and to take extra precautions in accordance with the CDC and  Arizona Department of Health Services (ADHS) recommendations.

We encourage you to be socially responsible when you gather, such as choosing activities that do not require sharing of common items, as well as washing and sanitizing areas before and after use.

Keep updated with the latest information regarding COVID-19 (coronavirus) from Maricopa County and the CDC

*  The best way to stop the spread of viral infections is to follow simple cleanliness rules such as:
* Washing your hands frequently, for at least 20 seconds, with soap,  or use a 60%+ alcohol-based hand sanitizer afterwards.
* Antibacterial soap is not required, as it does not protect against viral infections.
* Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth with unwashed hands.
* Clean all "high-touch" surfaces every day.
* Door knobs, bathroom fixtures, phones, etc.
* Cover your coughs/sneezes with a tissue, and then throw the tissue away in a lined garbage can.
Call ahead before visiting your doctor, if you think you may have a virus, so they may assist you in limiting exposure to other patients.
* Wear a face mask when you are around other people, if you have been diagnosed with a viral infection or think you may have one.

Thank you all for your patience during this period of uncertainty. We will continue to share updates as the situation evolves and continue to comply with CDC best practices for your protection. Please continue to follow federal, state and local guidelines to remain safe and healthy.

Sincerely,

Power Ranch Community Association
