Summer Reading fun has begun! Join us to explore "Oceans of Possibilities" and get ready to dive into this month’s programs. Register for SRP through the Beanstack app, online, or in person at either Pasadena Library location. Complete activities through the Beanstack app and earn up to 500 points for a chance to win awesome prizes! Pre-registration (May 1 - May 31) prize winners will be announced on Wednesday, June 1, 2022. Mid registration (May 1 – June 30) prize winners will be announced on Friday, July 1, 2022. | |
Summer Reading Program Rules - All Ages | |
- SRP is open to all ages and runs from Wednesday, June 1 through Sunday, July 31, registration begins Wednesday, June 1.
- By reading books and completing activities through the Beanstack app or online, you can earn points for a chance to win awesome prizes!
- For every 50 points earned, you will get ONE VIRTUAL TICKET for our grand prize drawings (maximum 10 tickets).
- You can put all of your virtual tickets towards one prize and increase your chances to win! If you can't decide what you want, spread your virtual tickets across a lot of prizes!
Please note: Activities logged between May 1 - 31 do NOT count towards the Summer Reading Program!
Last day to update Beanstack account is Sunday, July 31. Grand prize winners will be announced on Monday, August 1.

"Cheese" Back! Learn How To Make Cheese
Join us Saturday, June 4 at 2:00 PM at the Central Library and learn how to make ricotta and mozzarella cheese with Charmaine LeBlanc.
Ms. LeBlanc will also show us how to make butter.

Apollo Chamber Players Juneteenth Jubilee
Celebrate Juneteenth here at the Pasadena Public Library on Saturday, June 18 at 2:00 PM. This ensemble has played to sold out performances at Carnegie Hall and has been featured on national broadcast radio on several occasions as part of American Public Media's Performance Today program.
They'll play music by composers Jessie Montgomery, Florence Price, Adolphus Hailstork, Scott Joplin, and Henry Burleigh here at the Central Library – 1201 Jeff Ginn on Saturday, June 18 at 2:00 PM (FREE ADMISSION).
