Charrette: Building a Data Science Research Hub
New: Thursday, March 19, 2020, 2:00-3:30 EDT, online!
We will begin with introductory comments from

Paul Savage, CEO, HealthCare Intelligence, Population Health Expert
Dana Leff Niedzielska, CEO, AugustResearch, on Data in the Clinical Trial Process

We will then invite each individual on the call to Introduce themselves and their interests. Please plan to speak for about 2 minutes about your work.
Please Note - with an abundance of caution, Fordham Westchester facilities will be closed next week, and so we are adapting our plan.

We will meet online on Thursday, March 19,
2-3:30 pm EDT .

Though we always prefer to meet in person, this gives us the opportunity to include colleagues from across the country and across the globe.

Our full day Charrette at Fordham will be postponed to April 23 (please save the date). A new registration for this will go out after March 19.

Thank you for your understanding, and stay safe.
Your Invitation:
This session brings together thought leaders from the life sciences industry, clinical research practitioners, patient care providers, and population health experts together with diverse academics and educators intent upon developing innovative business and employment opportunities across the region.

Each of our participants will have an opportunity to share their work and together we will listen for common opportunities and challenges associated with the transformation of the healthcare environment.

The role and development of Data Analytics as a significant discipline in the transformation of the healthcare industry will be explored with the participants and we believe this initiative can help to accelerate growth by sharing breakthroughs and addressing perceived gaps
.
The Charrette is expected to be the beginning of sharing the insights from many scientific and business disciplines striving to share common goals and opportunities to improve the healthcare system.

The Big Idea:
Our plan for the Westchester Data Research Hub is to integrate the work and interests of data scientists, researchers, and engineers from the earliest discovery, and welcome diverse voices throughout the biomedical pipeline- wet lab science, cybersecurity, clinical research, etc. With emerging technologies, now is the time to build bridges to derive beneficial knowledge across complex data sources.

From multiple structured inquiries we believe this initiative can help to accelerate growth by sharing breakthroughs and addressing perceived gaps.

Paul Savage, CEO of HealthCare Intelligence, is our Chair and champion. He will lead the overall process and bring his expertise in population health analysis. Paul is an industry expert, veteran hospital advisor, and academic with extensive publications and instructional experiences.

Thank you for joining us as we seek to develop collaborative approaches, leveraging existing efforts and attracting fresh resources to help the entire cluster.
