Bob Would Be Proud!
Thank you AUMC for another successful Bob's Coat Drive! 239 coats were collected and delivered to shelters in Fort Worth. Of those, 30 of them were for children. Thank you for being the hands and feet of Christ!
Nursery Volunteers
We need nursery volunteers to provide care for children 4 years-old and under on Sunday mornings. This can be a one hour commitment so you still have time for Sunday school and worship. Please contact Teresa Chisum for more information.
Acolytes Needed
Do you have a child in 5th or 6th grade that attends the 11:00am service? Please email Thomas Williams to have your child participate in worship.
Lenten Choir
Wednesdays, February 5th through April 8th, 7:00pm

Come be a part of the choir as we prepare for our Good Friday and Easter service. Rehearsals are 7:00-7:45pm on Wednesdays. Our choir will be joining with FUMC Weatherford for a Choral Tenebrae Service on April 10th here at Aledo UMC. Please consider joining us for Lenten choir this year!
Epiphany Prison Ministry
February 15th-17th, Brownwood, TX

Epiphany Ministry volunteers go into our juvenile prisons to share the love of Jesus Christ with incarcerated youth. Here's how you can help:
* Sign up at the Connection Center to be part of the prayer chain, to pray for the girls who will attend
* Purchase a meal ticket for only $5.00. Each ticket will provide a lunch to an incarcerated teenager

Thank you for your support of these young souls!
Pancake Dinner
Sunday, February 23rd, starting at 11:00am

Join us in the Fellowship Hall for our Student Ministry's mission trip fundraiser. We will have all you can eat pancakes and sausage or bacon. Money raised from this lunch will support our students on their summer mission trips to Arkansas and East Texas.
Coming Soon: Family Nerf Wars!
Watch for more details in the Children's Enews. To get informed on everthing going on in Children's Ministry and Youth Ministry, email Teresa Chisum or Rachelle Moreland to get on the enews list!
Manna Room Needs
Our Manna Room was blessed in November and December by several food drives. These drives have filled up our shelves! However, there are a few items that we are low on so we will be collecting the following items for the remainder of January:
* Spaghetti Sauce
* Peanut Butter
* Jelly
Thank you for helping feed our neighbors in Parker County.
Are you taking advantage of electronic giving?
When we join the church, we pledge to support the life and ministry of the church with our financial gifts. That can get complicated on those weeks when we can't be here as the offering plate comes around. But through electronic giving, you remain faithful to your membership vows, even on those weeks when life takes you elsewhere. It's easy. It's safe. And it benefits both you and your church family. Setting it up is easy and only takes a few minutes. Contact Shari Birchell  to set up an automatic transfer from your checking account. Or go to Aledo UMC to use your credit or debit card.
