You are invited to the International Coastal Cleanup events in Riviera Beach on Saturday, September 18, 2021. The International Coastal Cleanup (ICC) is the world's largest, volunteer effort to clean up the marine environment. Every year, volunteers from over 100 countries descend on local beaches, rivers, lakes and canals to show their commitment to cleaner waterways. The Ocean Conservancy, the world's largest organization focusing exclusively on the health of the marine environment, has sponsored this annual event for the past 36 years. In Palm Beach County, we extend the Cleanup to additional dates through the fall.
Come out to Ocean Walk and meet us to clean up Singer Island Beach area. We will be there from 7:30am for registration and clean starts promptly at 8am. We will be cleaning up the beach until 11:30am. This is a great opportunity to get community service hours. We will have buckets, trash bags, and snacks for you for the clean-up.
