Cycling in Ontario 2020
- NOW AVAILABLE! -

We're excited to announce that our 2020 Cycling in Ontario guide is now officially available!

Once again we have been working together with amazing partners across the province to create this 40 page long magazine styled guide filled with fantastic itineraries, ride suggestions and brand new stories for all the avid cyclists out there who are keen to explore our beautiful province on two wheels.

Browse through over 50 day and overnight itineraries featuring road and trail cycling as well as mountain biking. Find the perfect ride that best suits you, using our ride style guide.

Read more about the fantastic rail trails in eastern Ontario, a beautiful loop around Simcoe County or get some great tips on how to fix your bike while on the road. If you like to push yourself to the limit, the Butter Tart 700, a 770 kilometre bikepacking loop through the hinterland of southwestern Ontario might be a ride you want to read more about.

Your only chance to pick up an advance copy is to visit our booth at one of the upcoming shows (see below for more info.)

We will be making print copies as well as a digital version available in March. To request a physical copy by mail, email your name and mailing address and include 'Cycling in Ontario' in subject line to:  [email protected]

Our 8th annual edition is available in both French and English.

Ontario By Bike`s 2019 Photo Contest
- We have a Winner!  -

We'd like to thank all those who submitted entries into Ontario By Bike's 2019 photo contest. Every year we receive a large number of amazing photos and it is never an easy decision to pick our winner from all the great shots we receive.

Our 2019 photo contest winner shot (photo above) was taken at the Amable du Fond River Provincial Park, in Northeast Ontario by Josie Dinsmore. Together with her mother she was out for a ride from Kiosk, Algonquin Park to Samuel Champlain Park, on their annual park to park ride.

If you would like to share some of your best cycling shots with us, join us for the next round of our Ontario By Bike photo contest. 2020 submissions are now open! Visit OntarioByBike.ca/photocontest for more information on how to enter and look at past year's winners and some honorable mentions. The contest will be open until November 20, 2020.
