A Portion of Bloomdale and Custer Road Reconstruction Begins March 5
Beginning Saturday, March 5 at 7 a.m. a portion of Bloomdale Road intersecting Custer Road will be closed for reconstruction. All traffic traveling westbound on Bloomdale Road will be detoured to CR 124 and all traffic traveling eastbound on Prosper Trail will be detoured North and South onto Custer Road. Weather permitting, the roadway will reopen on Sunday, March 13 at 8 p.m. Please seek alternate routes during this time.

Run, Jump and Throw | March 7-10 | Ages 6-13
This class encourages a lifelong love of track and field! Run-Jump-Throw training and competition are introduced in a safe, positive and supportive environment. Personalized, progressive workouts will establish and build athleticism and instill confidence in your child. And the workouts are fun! Games, proper breathing mechanics, form, etiquette, dynamic drills and nutrition are all topics covered in the program. Ages 6-9 11:30 a.m. | Ages 10-13 3:30 p.m.

Soccer Sparks | March 7-10 | 4:30-6:30 p.m. | Ages 6-10
The Soccer Sparks philosophy is to develop a passion for soccer with fun and games without the stress of competitive play. USSF Nationally Certified coaches work with your child to maximize potential while emphasizing fair play and enjoyment of the game.

Green Wand Magic Camp | March 11 | 1-4 p.m. | Ages 6-14
The Green Wand Course emphasizes magic principles and skills. Learn how to cut a lady in half, give your friends superhero powers, make invisible objects appear in a magic pencil pouch and more!
DIY Rain Barrel Class March 9
Experts agree rainwater is the best water for your lawn, landscape or vegetable garden. Register for this DIY Rain Barrel Class on March 9 from 6-7:30 p.m. to learn simple techniques on how to divert, store and use one of nature’s best resources for the garden. We’ll also pour through the basics and benefits of rainwater harvesting and how it can reduce the effect your stormwater has on the environment. This class is hands-on “DIY” where each participant will build and take home a 55-gallon rain barrel at $55 dollars each. Historical Marker Rededication Ceremony March 11
The Town of Prosper and the Prosper Historical Society invites you to attend the Prosper Historical Marker Rededication Ceremony on March 11 at 11 a.m. The marker was recently moved from its original location to its new home on the grounds of the Prosper Town Hall and Library. Please join us to celebrate this important moment in Prosper’s history. The ceremony will take place outside the entrance to the Prosper Community Library, located at 200 S. Main Street, Prosper, TX 75078.
BNSF Railroad Crossing Update
Town staff is finalizing the paperwork necessary to obtain the BNSF Railroad permit for the work and expects to receive BNSF Railroad’s approval next week. In anticipation of the BNSF Railroad permit approval, the Town is proactively working with the contractor to schedule the repairs for the week of March 14. It is anticipated that the project will take 6 to 8 weeks to complete, during which time only one lane in each direction will be closed to allow the road to remain open to traffic. We will continue to provide updates on our social media channels as the project moves forward.
Story Time on the Road March 18
Beep! Beep! Hit the road with the Prosper Community Library on March 18 at 10:30 a.m. for a fun storytime and a fascinating tour to find out what happens when a car gets bumped and bruised. No registration is required for parents and kids to attend. The location of this storytime will be held at The Body Shop Collision Repair located at 430 Business Park Drive Prosper, TX. Save the Date for the Spring Cleanup March 19
The 11th Annual Prosper Spring Cleanup will take place on Saturday, March 19 from 8 a.m. – noon at Prosper Town Hall. Dispose of electronic waste, bulk trash items, or cardboard and metal. There will also be document shredding available on site. Cornerstone will be accepting donations of your new and gently used donated clothing, toys, furniture and household goods.

Electronic Waste
We accept computers, CRT (cathode ray tube) monitors, televisions, printers, scanners, copiers, radios, CD players, VCRs, cellular and wireless telephones. *There will be a $25 disposal fee for each CRT TV/Monitor (credit cards only)

Document Shredding
Shredding paper is a safe and effective way of ensuring your valuable information doesn’t end up in the wrong hands. Items such as confidential documents, bank statements, old bills and magazines can be safely shredded during this event. Please remove staples, paper clips and rubber bands before shredding. *Up to five boxes will be accepted.

Bulk Trash Items
Extra trash, household appliances, furniture, mattresses, and other large or bulky household items will be accepted for disposal. *Household hazardous waste and tires will not be accepted.

Cardboard and Metal
Numerous metal items common to most households can be recycled. Accepted at this event are water heaters, washers, dryers, refrigerators*, freezers* and small metal scrap (screws, utensils, hinges, pipes, bolts, etc.). *Refrigerators and freezers must be tagged certified removal of refrigerants.
