Challenges
Solicitation calls from live callers have changed over the years, they now call from local numbers (not toll free) and they are willing to leave a message for a callback. They have become creative in what they say and it can often be hard for our agents to determine if they are calling because you do business with them or if it is an unsolicited solicitation. If it’s an obvious solicitation, we will tell the caller “We are not interested, please remove our number from your calling list”. If in doubt, we ask agents to take a message since our business model is to take messages for our clients, not to refuse calls. Please know that we are filtering these calls to the best of our ability.
Automated, or Robocalls, are easy to identify and our agents are trained to immediately hang up on any robocall calls.
** NOTE: If you subscribe to any services that have automated messages introducing the call or asking to press a key to accept the call - you must notify us so we can make a note on your account. Otherwise, these calls sound like robocalls and we may prematurely hang up on the call. Examples include Google voice, 33mile, etc.
