We are so excited to introduce our first annual 5K Run/Walk, “Run for Patients,” to support the ministries of Caring Partners International. The event has a fun theme that is built around Hebrews 12:1 "…let us run with patience the race that is set before us.”

We are so appreciative to all our volunteers and supporters who have been running the race with us for many years! This event will be a fun day of fellowship and exercise and is intended to bring attention to the patients that CPI serves in our clinics across the globe and here at home. Our ministry estimates it costs approximately $25.00 to reach one of our patients with physical and spiritual healing, so for every $25.00 raised during our 5K Run/Walk, CPI can provide a physical & spiritual check-up for a person in need!

This year’s event is scheduled to take place at Armco Park in Warren County, Ohio, but groups, families, or individuals can participate from their very own neighborhoods if they wish. We are also set up for serious racers with a timed start and finish line. So, If you are coming to support CPI and enjoy some fun & fellowship, or if you are a serious runner, the event is planned to meet your needs!

Please join our healthcare ministry in welcoming our newest team member! Hayley Hasty is serving full-time with Caring Partners International as our Partnership Director. Hayley will be involved with the development of our volunteer programs, as well as recruiting new mission team members, healthcare professionals, and young leaders to engage with all aspects of CPI's medical ministry.

Hayley has three degrees from Cedarville University; a Bachelor of Science degree in Allied Health, a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish, and an MBA. Her husband Caleb graduated with a Doctorate of Pharmacy from Cedarville this past May and is currently working as a Pharmacy Resident with Kettering Health in Kettering, Ohio.

As CPI strives to engage the next generation, our mission team is thrilled to have such a quality young leader serving with us, working together to reach the world for Jesus Christ with CPI's vision of Evangelism Through Medicine®

Late next week, three CPI leaders will be traveling to Guatemala to meet with national healthcare providers, surgeons, and pastors to determine if a surgical mission trip may be able to be scheduled to that country. Pray for God's wisdom and guidance as these U.S. leaders and their Guatemalan counterparts meet together to explore this possible medical mission opportunity.

Please remember Rochelle "Che" Orata in your prayers. Che is the wife of our National Pastor in Thailand, and she's been experiencing some very severe headaches. Tests indicate the headaches are most likely migraines, but with current Covid travel restrictions in Thailand, medical care within their home province is rather limited. Pray for the Lord's healing touch for dear Che!

We are praising God that our National Director from Guatemala, Helmuth Marroquin, will be here in the USA with us for most of September. Helmuth & Dr. Adam Reed will be traveling through the southeast portion of the U.S. visiting with some new church partners.
