March 2020
"Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me."
- Psalm 51:10
Dear Concordia Alumna/us,

Grace and peace during this season of Lent.

Now is the time we look into our hearts and prepare for the journey to the cross. With the psalmist, we desire a pure heart and renewal of our spirit. Our students are exploring these themes and more through the Red Letter Challenge during these 40 days. The mission of the Red Letter Challenge is to help people live more like Jesus.

Have you gone through the Red Letter Challenge or something similar? Let us know if you’d like some resources to help you focus your hearts and minds on Christ.

There are so many ways to stay involved with CUAA. In addition to the stories in this month’s edition, we are always happy to provide ways you can volunteer and stay connected. Contact us anytime at alumni@cuaa.edu

Thoughts from
Campus Pastor Randy Duncan
Each morning during the school year, our campus pastor, Randy Duncan, sends out an email full of inspirational thoughts, concepts to ponder, scripture, and prayer requests. We thought we would share some of his thoughts with you each month for us to contemplate.

"We all face giants of various kinds in the battlefield of our hearts and minds. Anger. Fear. Doubt. Shame. My encouragement is to dwell on the size of your God, not the height of your giants. Fix your eyes on Jesus for He has already given us the victory. May your morning battle cry in Christ be, 'I am more than a conqueror!' (Romans 8:37)"

Final thought: " The right relationships will never distract you from God. They’ll bring you closer to Him."
