Dear Frie nds of The Blue Purl,

Do you find yourselves struggling to remember what day it is?

Oh, and we are not talking senior-moment (We are all too young for that!)

We are talking pandemic days where one seems to bleed right into the next. We hope that we have been able to help you break it up a bit, with our zoom classes and shop hours.

But as the summer days kick in, and really blend into the blur of our topsy-turvy world, it is time to slow things down a bit.

We will be switching to summer hours, and we hope that you will be too.
Take a vacation, even if it is a stay-cation. Mix up your routine. Turn off your phones; turn away from your screens, take-on a knitting project that is just fun, fun, fun. The fall is really not that far away, so don’t you want to have a nice sweater, scarf, wrap, ready to give to someone special.

How can we help with that?

We do plan to follow our own advice and will be closing the shop for two weeks – the last week of July and first week of August. So you still have time to get ready for that project. We will do everything we can to make sure you are set up, just let us know how we can help.

Our shop hours for the next few weeks will be shifting a bit. We won’t have in-store hours on Saturday until the fall, but we will continue Tuesday to Friday hours (except those two weeks) and our website and online shop is available to you always.

We hate to sound like we are hectoring, but please take care of yourselves. Enjoy the Fourth of July, but remember, please, the virus is still with us.
So kick back, slow down, take on a project, and stay safe.

A little help from our friends at Berroco
Dropshipping
From Berroco: We are aware that many of our LYS have had to temporarily close their doors for their safety in accordance with regulations from their governors. We recognize it's a difficult time for many of our brick and mortar shops. Many shops are transitioning to curbside and e-commerce options but we wanted to help them offer something more! We are happy to introduce Berroco 123 DropShip, to ship Berroco yarns directly to your home.

Isn't that great! Here (click in) is how it works ... you find what you want and then call us and we'll place your order and they'll ship it. This week's drop ship free patterns are the Jardin and Arcade striped scarves. The Arcade scarf uses 4 balls of the self striping Medina, all in one colorway, no need to alternate yarns! The Jardin uses 2 balls of 2 colors each of Millefiori Light in a simple chevron pattern.

Call us- 973 377-5648 or email to get the free pattern with yarn purchase through us.
