The Importance of Marching for Life
On Tuesday, January 21, 44 Aquinas Catholic students and nine chaperones traveled to Lincoln to catch a bus with other youths from the Diocese of Lincoln.
"This is the largest group we have ever taken" Fr. Stec remarked.
"It has steadily grown in attendance about ten students each year."
Many Aquinas students who attended the March for Life, are part of other teams and missed games or meets to attend March for Life. "Please express my appreciation for the coaches and teachers for encouraging these student/athletes to participate in the March for Life," said Fr. Stec.
When Fr. Stec is asked the question,
"What difference does one person make? One person in a group of over 400,000 people."
His answer is simple, "It doesn't make a political difference, but spiritually offering it up to God, He will use that sacrifice to help a mother or baby in need."
