Dear Serra Parents and Guardians,
In an effort to share with you the progress we are making with teaching and learning in the hybrid model, we have decided to start a report card. The administrative team will self-report daily the different areas of success in our program and identify the areas to pay attention to moving forward. The Pandemic Recovery Framework from the county and the detailed plans of the team continue to drive our decision making.
Overall, we scored an A+ on the first day. The boys were on time, teachers were prepared, and we tested our systems. The investment in facility improvements, technology and professional development allowed facilitated sophisticated teaching in a hybrid environment.
The boys had time to socially distance and be outside for lunch. They are getting used to being back at Serra and we couldn't be happier to have your sons here. Tomorrow will be even better and great things are to come.
Tomorrow we start B Day with the Blue Group. Remember that we are experiencing cooler mornings, with warmer temperatures throughout the day. Make sure your devices are powered fully and ready for zooming.
