Adult Religious Education
FUSW Book Discussion Group, First meeting Sunday, Mar 29, 12:00pm
Our minister, Viola Abbitt, will lead three monthly discussions of books that we'll examine within the context of Unitarian Universalism. The first title is
An Indigenous Peoples’ History of the United States
by Roxanne Dunbar-Ortiz, this year’s UUA
“
Common Read
,”
which looks at the history of our country from a radically different perspective than the popular narrative.
Participate in one discussion or all three. Add your name to the signup sheet on the bulletin board or email Viola (
minister@fusw.org
). If you would like us to order a book for you, contact the office (
admin@fusw.org
) at least three weeks before the discussion; Rina will find the best price and let you know once the order is placed.

From the Minister
There are so many of you that I would like to get to know, but because of my limited time here I am not able to initiate a lot of interaction. I encourage you to reach out to me if you have something to discuss, would like feedback, or just want to sit and talk. Reach me at
minister@fusw.org
or 914-478-2710 to make an appointment. I am at FUSW most Tuesdays and Wednesdays. I'd love to hear from you!
