GET EDUCATED ABOUT CLIMATE CHANGE
@ Moffat Library!
Our librarians have created a new Climate Change Guide for our patrons seeking information on this vital issue! This guide is intended to provide you with a roadmap of the key people within the Climate Change community, and lead you to domestic and international organizations that are studying it. By visiting their websites, you will discover who is funding research, who the scientists are, and what is being studied. You'll also find out when these international organizations meet, and find out more information from other cutting-edge climate news organizations that are covering this important subject.

While you are visiting the page, you'll also find many books, documentaries and age-appropriate environmental teaching materials on the topic. Look for the tabs Books & Climate Change News & Education in the top menu bar.

Click on the Documentaries tab to view and read reviews of the top Environmental films that are available via the library's subscription to the Kanopy video streaming service.

Remember, all you need is your library card to set up a Kanopy
account. Instructions for doing so are here.

TEENS - LEARN TO CODE!
VIDCODE
From our Teen Corner, the place for teens to learn, create & procrastinate, comes VIDCODE.

This is the best way to learn to code! Using Javascript, you'll create simple videos and memes that have multiple filters to obtain images and videos like those you’ll find on Instagram or Tik Tok.

Enough fun to get your creative juices flowing WHILE you learn code!

Access here:
