Good afternoon and happy Friday, beer fans! It's time to get ready for the weekend and the 4th of July Holiday, but we suspect that most people's plans may be just a bit scaled back this year with renewed virus safety measures in place. You may not be able to go out to a bar or restaurant to celebrate, or even to the beach in LA County, but you can still grab a few beers and fire up the grill and enjoy a beautiful Saturday on the 4th of July. We'll be here for you to help grab the best beers for your weekend hangs, so don't hesitate to drop by and we'll make it happen! We expect to be a bit busy today before the holiday, so if you've got your heart set on picking up a larger order, please submit a request through our website and we'll get right back to you as we are working on it. In case you are wondering, we will be open on Saturday, July 4th, observing special hours. We will be here filling orders from 11AM-5PM, so please get your order requests in EARLY as we will be closing early.
There's lots of new beer to check out this week, so we are sure we can find something for just about everybody's tastes. Today we are excited to have some fresh new releases from the locals, including the talented brewers down at Brouwerij West in San Pedro. Most of you might already be fans of their quality Hazy IPA releases, but they are no one trick pony! They've just released an EXCELLENT West Coast style IPA, so if that's your preference you will definitely want to give this one a try. Also new today are some fresh releases from our friends at Los Angeles Ale Works in Hawthorne. We are stoked to have one of our favorite Hazy's, "Lazer Star" back on the shelf for the weekend, and they've also shipped us one of the last cases of their brand new "Thundara" Juicy Double IPA. This one is absolutely LOADED with juicy grapefruit flavor, and it's definitely a big, round, soft beer that so many fans of the style are looking for. If you are looking for even more Hazy IPA's, we still have some cans left from the excellent LIC Beer Project in New York. All of these releases are pretty rare out here on the West Coast, and they certainly deliver so you'll want to get your hands on these quickly if you are interested.
Ok that's about it for us this Friday - we really hope that you all have a SUPER SAFE 4th of July weekend. Please be responsible and protect those people in your life who may be more vulnerable to health issues by avoiding gatherings as difficult as that may be. It's gonna be a tough one but we all need to work together to get to the other side of this. 101 Cider - Jet Skis in Cabo (CA)
Throw on your silk shirt, hammer down on the j-ski, and let's vibe on this flavor vacation. Crank up the tunes and let this combination of electrifying pineapple and mint refresh you harder than the mist from a tasty wave. Pairs well with sunburns, long beach days, and wearing your sunglasses at night just as well as it pairs with a day at home and a relaxed state of mind. ABV 4%

Cellador Ales - Moon Water (CA)
For this second version of Moon Water, we got in 2,ooo pounds of Petite Syrah wine grapes that were grown in Paso Robles. We de-stemmed and crushed the grapes in-house, then spontaneously fermented them with the cultures from the skins in two open top puncheons. After one week, we separated the juices from the skins, and used the juice the make another variant of Deadcrush which will come out later this year. We took the skins and added them to a 50/50 blend off young and old rustic saisons. The result is a deep purple and highly effervescent beer with a moderate acidity and intense flavors of Lambrusco, berries, with mild notes of baking spices. It's fucking amazing. One of my favorite beers we've made this year. Drink it! ABV 8%

Cellador Ales - Papist Elms (CA)
Papist Elms is a beer inspired by the Gold Rush cocktail. A Gold Rush is made with bourbon or rye whisky, lemon juice, and honey. Papist is our red base which was aged in whisky barrels for 10 months, then infused with lemon zest and bottle conditioned with orange blossom honey. It's got lots of fresh lemon aromas, a silky mouthfeel from the honey and a lingering aftertaste of oak and caramel with a hint of whisky. It's the perfect beverage for sipping by the fire on one of these rainy California days. ABV 8.5%

The Watermelon Clarity is the first of our Clarity seasonal offerings that will be releasing this year. The Watermelon Clarity offers a slice of summer in a can! ABV 5%

El Segundo - The 105 (CA)
We found Idaho 7 last year - and fell in love with this new hop variety. We "bursted" this beer with the hops for optimal flavor and smooth bitterness. Follow The 105 down to the beach and you'll be in Hop Heaven (El Segundo...) ABV 7.1%

Los Angeles Ale Works - Lazer Star (CA)
This is a more traditional take on a hop forward juicy IPA complete with notes of honeydew melon, citrus, and stone fruit. This full bodied beer is dry hopped with Amarillo and Azacca which gives it a more classic flavor complete with a dry finish. ABV 7.5%

Los Angeles Ale Works - Lunar Kitten (CA)
The first in our Kitten trilogy, Lunar Kitten is single-hopped with Simcoe, and dry-hopped to enhance aroma. Pilsner, Maris Otter, and rye malts provide a solid base for pronounced fruity and piney Simcoe hop expression. Perfectly crushable with just the right amount of cat-titude. ABV 7%

Our flagship hazy, golden American Pale Ale brewed with copious amounts of Cascade, Citra and Simcoe hops over a body of pilsner and oat malts. It's light base is the perfect backbone to effervescent and bright hop aromas of mango, pineapple and evergreen. ABV 5%

Brewed with late additions of Belma, El Dorado, and Mosaic resulting in a medium bodied IPA with juicy fruit, strawberry, earthy and piney notes finishing resinous and dry. ABV 7%

Port Brewing Co - Soft Top Hoppy Ale (CA)
Port Brewing Soft Top is a balanced and refreshing West Coast-style hoppy Pale Ale, brewed with Mosaic, Cascade, and Simcoe hops. Aromas of fresh lemon peel and light biscuit are mirrored on the palate, finishing with an even balance of wheat and hops. ABV 5.5%

Russian River - Mind Circus (CA)
Mind Circus IPA has a mild bitterness and a thick, luscious mouthfeel. This style of IPA is what is being called in the beer world a "Hazy IPA" Dominantly herbaceous and grassy, with moderate tropical notes as well as some bright citrus. This unique hazy IPA gains its flavor of grapes and grass from the Nelson hops, and its tropical notes of pineapple and mango from the Strata hops. It is unfiltered leaving a "haze" and some yeast for more texture. Oats were also used to add to the softer mouthfeel and hazy appearance. ABV 7%
