LIFE AT VMS: Curriculum Night
by Ann Clark, Head of School
Dear VMS parents,
Each year, VMS hosts a Montessori Curriculum Night designed for current and prospective parents. The purpose of this important event is to build an understanding of the artful Montessori approach and expansive curriculum for parents, so together we can support the vital role of raising and educating your children. This year, we will host the events via Zoom and after a brief introduction, you will be placed in breakout groups by level. All parents are invited to attend the level your child will experience next school year. The sessions will be packed full of valuable information guided by our knowledgeable VMS faculty. Zoom links will be sent in a separate email.
Tomorrow, January 21 at 7pm, is for Toddler through Upper Elementary.
Next Thursday, January 28 at 7pm, is for Middle School.
Covid Update:
We are continuing with monthly staff testing and have started monitoring the availability of the Covid vaccine for VMS staff. We are in the next tier for distribution and expect to receive more information soon.
Equity & Inclusion Update:
Our E&I Coordinator, AaLeiyah DeSimas, kicked off our Discovery Committee Zoom sessions in December. Discussions will continue through the end of this school year. We encourage parents to get involved in the conversations. To learn more about the committees, topics, and participant roles, join an information Zoom tonight at 5:00pm. Zoom Link:
