Message from Pastor Austin

"I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand." - Jesus

If I promised dinner you tonight, I wouldn't come hungry. I can’t give you fresh trout if I haven’t caught it (don't count on it). I can't make you a salad without lettuce or spinach. I can’t even give you my soda pop if I didn't buy it. You can’t give something if you don’t already have it.

Jesus promises eternal life. Before you can give eternal life, you first must have it. In His resurrection Jesus demonstrated that He has it! Not even death can take eternal life from Him.  This is His incredibly comforting promise of security. Jesus said “My sheep hear my voice, I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand.”

Jesus gives us eternal life and he has the right to give it and to secure it. In Christ my friends there is nothing…. NOTHING can take us away from him and His promise of eternal life.

In Christ, you are secure.

Austin
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
Love never fails.

1 Corinthians 13:4-8
The point is this: whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows bountifully[a] will also reap bountifully. Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.

2 Corinthians 9:6-7

Dear Grace Fellowship Members and Friends…

October was Pastor Appreciation Month, and we are so blessed to have Pastor Austin at Grace Fellowship! He is the first person we think of when we need counsel or comfort or spiritual direction. Our pastor has a heart of gold, always ready with a hug, a word of encouragement, a story that relates to our circumstance, and lots of love. He truly cares about us!

"Dear Pastor Austin, we hope you feel our love for you and know that we are always praying for you and your family. Thank you for being such a wonderful shepherd of this flock."

We have been through a lot over the past several months and Pastor Austin has worked overtime making sure we have been fed even when the church was forced to close… As October draws to a close, Pastor Austin will be receiving an appreciation bonus from you, the Church, as a thank you for all of his efforts over the past year. The Church Leadership board would like to encourage everyone to let him know just how much he is appreciated… Please reach out to Pastor Austin with cards, texts and emails to show your support and appreciation! Thank You!
