Vestry Corner
Church of the Holy Comforter, Vienna, VA
April 25, 2022
On behalf of the Vestry, we want to offer our thanks and appreciation for your participation in the Feasibility Study process that recently took place in our church.

Your engagement in this discovery phase has been foundational in evaluating what is needed and possible in our parish. Thank you for completing surveys, sitting down and speaking with the Kirby-Smith Associate team, and prayerfully discerning how the proposed vision connects with our mission “to help our community and world know the transforming love of God in Jesus Christ.”

We are very grateful for your engagement during the Feasibility Study process as well as your attendance and participation during the April 10 Town Hall. All in all the process has been a healthy and holy one!

The Vestry met and reviewed the Feasibility Study report submitted by Kirby-Smith Associates. Based on feedback from our parish through the report and Town Hall meeting, the Vestry unanimously voted to move forward with the Capital Campaign. We are grateful to have Kevin Reynolds serve as our campaign chair and Kari Govan and David Grove as our campaign-co chairs. The Kirby-Smith Associate team will continue to manage the campaign process.

More information about the campaign will be forthcoming in the weeks ahead.

We ask that you continue to keep this campaign and our 125th celebration in your prayers. Please continue to pray that the Lord will guide and bless this parish, the clergy, and lay leaders.

Yours in Christ,
