Women Lead YYC Applications Now Open
Women Lead YYC will meet six times on Tuesday evenings September 22 - October 27, 2020. Sessions will run from 5:30 - 8:00 P.M., and will cover topics like community organizing, strategic communications, movement building, connecting with allies, and addressing systemic barriers and root causes of community problems.

We're assembling a group of 12 motivated women who are interested in building a network, and working for change at a local le vel. Sessions will take place in person at the Women's Centre while following Alberta Health guidelines; however, the program could move online via Zoom if provincial health circumstances change. Unfortunately, due to the COVID-19 pandemic child-minding will not be available for this cohort. This program is open to anyone who identifies as a woman.

Applications open June 29 for the September - October 2020 cohort and the application deadline is August 11. For more details, contact Monique at [email protected]
Open By Appointment For Services

In order to offer some in-person services, we rearranged our space and placed dividers to ensure physical distancing measures. We have also implemented a phone and door screening processes.
