It is important that the College be able to get a hold of you if we need to. Please ensure that the contact information, personal and business, that you have in your College profile is current and correct.
Thank you in advance for checking and updating where needed.
As the last of the snow melts from another spring storm, it is hard to believe that we are almost 4 months into 2022! It seems like the last 2 years have melted into one long (cold-ish) season.
As we have moved through this, the regulatory landscape continues to shift and even more legislation has been introduced in the house. Most recently Bill 10. Although the topic of Bill 10 (female genital mutilation) is not evident within the practice of most healthcare practitioners, all Colleges will most likely be required to create a Standard of Practice that speaks to this topic. Watch in the coming months for more information.
The last 3 1/2 years of regulation have been fast-paced, confusing, and have required a lot of work and this is just another change that the College will undergo. If you are wondering why this has happened, we invite you to take a look at this chart (click here) which explains the origins and necessity for what the College has transitioned to.
If there are any questions on this, or anything else, please do not hesitate to reach out to the College staff.
