MB Magazine
Ever wonder what happened to the iconic lifeguard towers that stood watch over Miami Beach for so many years following Hurricane Andrew’s path of devastation through South Florida? We did too. As our cover story in the Winter 2021 Issue of MB Magazine, “Changing of the Guard” finds, more than two dozen iconic Miami Beach lifeguard towers have come ashore in the most unlikely of places since 2015 — from an upscale resort at the Jersey Shore, to an Airbnb in the Florida Keys and even the backyards of collectors.

In “Navigating the Inevitable,” we explore how Miami Beach children born in 2020 are likely to be among the first generations to grow up witnessing the effects of sea level rise firsthand from cradle to grave. We also discuss possible steps homeowners can take now to manage the threat of flooding. Click here to read the digital version of MB Magazine and keep an eye out for a physical copy in your mailboxes.
