We continue to pray for peace and an end to the conflict in Ukraine. We are still collecting donations to provide assistance to the refugees. Donations can be submitted electronically here, and will be directed to Catholic Relief Services, which already has refugee support networks in place in Ukraine, Poland, and bordering countries.

Free April Magnificat worship aids are available on the tables in the narthex of the church.

Find Peace in the Middle of the Week: Sometimes our weeks can be quite hectic, making it hard to find quiet time to pray. Men and women detained in jail often lack even the most basic self-care necessities. This Lent, parishes in the Archdiocese are asked to collect items for those in jail. The items we are collecting are men's white crew socks, standard sized white washcloths, and travel-size (1 oz.) bar soap. Please bring your donations to Mass by Sunday April 10. You can drop them off in the food pantry bins near the exits. Thank you!!

"Honor the Lord with your substance and with the first fruits of all your produce; then your barns will be filled with plenty, and your vats will be bursting with wine." (Proverbs 3: 9-10)

It’s been three years since we’ve been able to crown a new champion so dust off your basketball shoes, grab some friends and join us for one of our most exciting events of the year!

The tournament will be a round-robin group play followed by a single elimination tournament for the top 6 teams. Each team is guaranteed 3 games in the group play. Centennial Celebration of Mundelein – April 21

Join our seminarians to celebrate the seminary's centennial and the inspiring ministry of our alumni priests. This year we honor George Cardinal Mundelein with the 2022 “As Those Who Serve” Award in tribute to the thousands of alumni priests who continue his legacy by building bridges to Christ in parishes across the country and around the world. The centennial celebration would not be complete without our alumni priests and the parishioners they serve. We hope parishioners will come together to purchase a table for the evening to represent their parish and show support for their priests so we can recognize the true fruits of the seminary's mission--forming priests who lead vibrant communities of faith. And parishioners are encouraged to invite their priests to attend the celebration with them and to sponsor their attendance as a sign of gratitude for their vocation and positive impact on their faith. The planning team is also creating a photomosaic of parishioners and their priests that will be displayed at the event and installed in the centennial exhibit on the seminary campus. Parishioners can submit a photo with one of St. Alphonsus' priests to be included. See more info and purchase tickets.

Praying the Rosary for Engaged Couples

Every decision you make as a couple needs to be rooted in prayer. As we work toward rebuilding a culture of life and evangelization, there’s no better way to achieve it than with the support of the holy rosary. These rosary booklets (EnglishSpanish) will help engaged couples to pray, meditate, and discuss the mysteries of the rosary together.
