Items for Prayer This Week:
The Shepherding Project Group has been tasked with creating a new shepherding design model for Christ Covenant that will serve to spiritually care for our congregation. Please join us in praying for this Project Group:
• For our communication with the leadership and the congregation,
• For wisdom and communication for the pastors and elders as they connect with their pastoral and shepherding groups.
Jay & Brandi Rawls
Brandi is the Women’s Development Coordinator, training and shepherding women in leadership in the 8 regions of the Campus Outreach East Coast Network. Pray for them as they continue to raise monthly support. Pray for the content Brandi is developing to train staff women for leadership roles. Pray for them as they seek to honor God in their marriage and in serving the local church.
Persecuted Church around the World
Pray for believers around the world who are at significant risk for severe persecution, even the loss of their lives, because they have confessed faith in Christ. Pray we will think often of our brothers and sisters in danger and pray for God’s presence with them as they endure increasing hatred and risk of attack.
Unreached People Group: Dhimar in India
The Dhimar people live mainly in the Central Provinces of India. There are 0.01% known believers out of a population of 1,822,000. Dhimar people are mostly Hindus. Central India remains a pioneer mission field, but outreach and response are increasing, reflecting persecution levels. Pray for mission agencies working to send people to Central India for the gospel to be proclaimed.
