Impact 100 wishes our returning members, newest Impact 100 members, nonprofit partners, and sponsors a Happy New Year!  For those new to this newsletter, welcome.  Our monthly newsletter and newly redeveloped  Impact 100 website are the most effective ways of staying in-the-know with mission-centric information. President's Messages will be included in newsletters as needed.

New Member Welcome & Membership Announcement
Join us on  Tuesday, January 23rd at the Centennial Barn to celebrate the start of a new year of giving! Impact 100 members and guests are invited to attend this wonderful celebration in which we will unveil the total amount of membership grant funds for 2018. Come meet new members, mingle with current Impact 100 members, and learn how much of an Impact we will be making on the community this year! 


It's Not Too Late to Become a  Member for 2018!
Thanks to everyone that committed to Impact 100 for 2018 by the December 31st deadline. We understand that life gets busy, holidays are hectic, and that you may still want to be a member in 2018. Please pay your membership commitment  HERE as soon as possible. 

Also, please consider becoming a Sustaining Member. By doing so you are letting us know that we can count on you to be an Impact 100 member each year - until you let us know you want to stop. At which point you can do at any time. We hope you choose Sustaining - it helps us start each year knowing we have a solid level of support. Just email [email protected] to let Jen know you would like to become a Sustaining Member.

Congratulations Raffle Winner: Jere Pulte
263 members  submitted Impact 100 membership payment in full by 11/30 (or were on schedule to pay in full by  12/30/17).  Through a random number generator, we are happy to report Jere Pulte has received the raffle prize: a $100 Visa gift card!

Volunteer Your Talent: Get Involved in 2018
We're a guilt-free membership, but also have plenty of ways for you to lend a hand.  Standing (year-round) and seasonal committees need your help!  Join us  and choose volunteer opportunities that best meet your schedule and match your interests: Marketing, Membership & Recruiting, Event Planning, Focus Area Committees (FAC), CIRC (Financial Review), and for "one and done" tasks and help at events. 

If you are interested in joining a committee or volunteering - we could certainly use a hand!  Share your  preference for committee or volunteer participation  HERE. 
Note: we do restart committee sign-ups each year.

Mission Moment: Crayons 2 Computers
2013 Grant Recipient, Crayons to Computers (C2C),   took school supplies to a whole new place through Impact 100 funds: mobile delivery.  Through the Mobile Outreach Program, C2C surpassed their strategic goals to Impact 100.   Your support of Impact 100 directly supports transformational nonprofit initiatives like this one!

Initial Impact 100 Grant Goal C2C Successes Since Launching
Grow to 43 participating schools
As of November 2016, the MOP was serving 72 schools
Increase teacher participation to 75%
Since receiving funds, 91% of the teachers eligible accessed the program
Double Saturday shopping
Free Store is now open twice a month and continues to be one of the busiest shopping days of the week!

20% of the students served overall through C2C between 2014-16 were through the Mobile Outreach Program.   By Fiscal Year 2018, there are plans to further expand this program with the addition of a second MOP vehicle and staff person to manage the program!

"The success of the MOP has far surpassed our initial expectations. After launching in September 2014, the MOP hosted 6,028 teacher visits (from 2,100 eligible teachers), providing 48,000 students (between 2014-16) with $1.4 million worth of school supplies they needed the most."

Donna receives her award from Doug Taylor, President of Northeast Rotary Club.

The Rotary Club of Northeast Cincinnati, formally the Blue Ash / Montgomery Rotary Club named Donna Broderick, Past President of Impact 100,    Citizen of the Year. She is  a math and science teacher in the Sycamore School District. She was recognized for outstanding leadership and participation in a variety of volunteer services that make the community a better place to live.

Dave & Susan Deye

DePaul Cristo Rey High School recently recognized leading employers and individuals in Greater Cincinnati who partner with and support the school's Corporate Work Study Program (CWSP).  Susan Deye and her husband David Deye, were recognized for five years of nonprofit work sponsorship, as underwriters of students who work in nonprofit job placements.

Impact in Action: Women's Crisis Center
Women's Crisis Center, a 2016 Impact 100 Grant Recipient, is expanding the GreenDot program with Impact 100 funds to change behaviors, attitudes & responses to witnessed acts of violence.
