LA CITY HOUSING ELEMNET WEBINARS

The Los Angeles City Planning Department put out the following invitation to participate in their housing element update:

Join an upcoming webinar (11/10, 11/17 or 11/18) and share your feedback on the initial draft Concepts and Strategies for the Plan to House LA. BIA-LAV will be attending and providing our members' concerns and comments throughout the process.

LA COUNTY HOUSING PRESERVATION ORDINANCE

BIA-LAV has been following this Ordinance since the introduction of the Affordable Housing Action Plan in 2018. The Ordinance has been updated to conform with Senate Bill 330 and the recently passed Inclusionary Housing Ordinance. This Ordinance has an Affordable Housing Replacement Fee as an alternative to constructing replacement affordable rental housing. These fees also affect nonresidential projects and certain land divisions.
