Directors Message
Hi LBCS Families,

Rain is on and off in the forecast the next few weeks. With the rain comes some needed reminders...
  • Rainy Drop Off - students head right to the classrooms at the 7:45 bell. Students are still not to be on campus before 7:45 (consider letting them wait in your car in the parking lot if you arrive a little early).
  • We will send kids to play outside if we can (even in light drizzle) so please make sure they're dressed appropriately (and rain boots do make puddles more fun ).
  • We limit grass play when the grass is wet, but that doesn't mean that your child won't find the mud (sorry!).
  • Rainy Day Pick Ups (1st-8th grades) - students will sit under the awning outside of the Franklin gym, and we will call for them from the normal pick up line; pick up will take a bit longer, so please remind whoever picks up to be patient.
We've got two more weeks of instruction before our Winter Break. This time of year can be a lot of fun for kids, and we like to have fun here too. But, we will be continuing with instruction and important activities through the day before break. Please continue to parter with us to best support our kids by sticking to normal routines as best you can (especially bedtimes and nutrition).

Have a wonderful rest of your week...and stay dry and safe!
