Given the uncertainty surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic, the Chamber is taking precautions as recommended by our governing bodies and public health officials. With that in mind, until further notice all group events have been temporarily suspended. We apologize for any inconvenience and look forward to resuming our in-person networking and educational initiatives that serve our local business community.
For now, it's recommended that we practice social distancing, as well as good hygiene tactics. Review the following bullet list of reminders outlining the steps that you can take to keep you, your family and workplaces as healthy as possible.
- Wash your hands with soap for at least 15 seconds before rinsing;
- Avoid touching your face;
- Cough into your elbow;
- Sanitize your hands often;
- Disinfect surfaces often (cash registers, counters, knobs, railings, etc.); and
- Keep a distance of 3 to 6 feet from others who are coughing or sneezing
If you feel unwell, please stay home to prevent the spread of germs to others, especially the elderly and those with compromised immune systems.
Also, look below for links to resources that can help you take the necessary precautions in your business. We've also included signs that you can post in your place of business as a reminder to patrons of the seriousness of the virus.
We wish you good health and safe interactions in the coming weeks and months.
