Beloved Yoga Branch Yogis
As of March 17th, classes at the studios are temporarily suspended  until April 1st.

We are sad and sorry to have this happening but we know it is the right thing to do for the highest good and more importantly for the health of our community; you!
Check our website: www.yogabranch.com for the latest information & watch for virtual classes to be set up in the next few days.

Let's stay connected via Facebook & Instagram.

Breathe. This too shall pass.....
Dear Yogis,
People in our yoga community have been great about taking care of themselves and respecting the needs of others in light of the coronavirus concerns. Everyone has supported (while missing) our version of social distancing-no touch, no adjustments. They've used the sanitizing materials and stayed away if they felt unwell. We are a generally healthy, conscientious  group and up until now, it has seemed unnecessary for the yoga community to stop practicing together in the studio.

For those reasons, and due to all of the benefits we have been getting from practicing yoga together to cope, to connect, to laugh & to reduce our stress levels,  I had kept the studio open.

Yesterday there were a lot of new instructions given to Californians that shifted my decision toward closure for a period of time. Also, the national Yoga Alliance updated their guidelines for studios and posted on their website that in all areas where social-distancing is recommended, that yoga studios temporarily suspend on-site classes.

As we all know, In the past few days, in response to recommendations by the CDC, NIH and WHO, state, education and business leaders have initiated the closure of schools as well as cancellation of large events or public gatherings. These closures are very hard for us, our families and our economy but are designed to prevent the COVID 19 disease from getting ahead of our country's ability to respond to it.

As part of our wishes to make the world a better place,  I see this as a time when people everywhere must pull together in the same direction, to "yoke" (=yoga) in our collective effort to "flatten the curve of impact" of the COVID 19 disease. It is socially responsible to do what we can to act early & swiftly to help slow the spread of it to protect those most vulnerable while more tools & resources such as vaccines are being developed.

The teachers & I are going to miss seeing you so very much. We are working on ways to stay connected & engaged while physically apart. Stay tuned-in for news as we are exploring creative options such as some yoga videos & possibly live classes on-line so that you can practice with us during this time.  Connect for guided breathing, pictures, laughs & news on  Yoga Branch Facebook & Instagram.

We look forward to being with you in class again as soon as possible on the other side of this.  Take care of you & yours. Thank you for supporting the studio & our decisions to choose what serves the highest good.

Namaste.
love, Lisette & Staff
