Congratulations to all of our Company Dancers on incredible performances at the Talent On Parade Dance Competition this week in Overland Park! We are so proud of all of you for the effort and determination you've shown this season! Go CSA!

MASKS AT CENTER STAGE!

As stewards of our community, we will be carefully adhering to the policy set forth by our public health leaders. Per the new health order in Johnson County regarding face masks, the following mask requirements will be in effect at Center Stage beginning July 2, 2020.
  • All staff will be required to wear masks in the studio, including during classes and rehearsals. 
  • Any guests and parents ages 5 and older in the lobby will also be required to wear masks.   
     
  • Dance students ages 5 and older will be required to wear a mask in the lobby and to keep a mask with them during classes/rehearsals at all times. If dancers are doing an exercise in class that is stationary and the teacher is confident they can maintain social distancing, the teacher will let the students know they can take off their mask for that activity if they would like to do so. When dancers are transitioning between activities, going across the floor, and running choreography, masks will be worn.  
     
  • Music students ages 5 and older will be required to wear a mask in the lobby and to keep a mask with them during lessons at all times. Piano and guitar students will wear masks during their lessons. Vocal and instrumental students will remove their masks when singing or playing. Music instructors will wear masks at all times, except when demonstrating and during such time will maintain appropriate social distancing. 
With this new mask policy, our staff will be carefully monitoring students and their activity level. If a student ever feels that they need to step out in the lobby to temporarily remove the mask, they will be encouraged to do so.
 
As situations & recommendations change rapidly, we will continue to monitor and evaluate all safety protocols in effect at the studio and will keep families updated!

  • If you are already a CS music student and haven't talked with our front desk about setting up your summer lessons, please give us a call ASAP so we can reserve your lesson time as we continue to prepare for our Music Recital on July 26th at Hart Recital Hall!

  • If you are ready to start music lessons, now is a perfect time! With our Hybrid Lesson Model, our music instructors can meet you at the studio OR via Zoom for your lessons- whichever YOU prefer!!!
