Parent & Family Giving
Love is in the air, and we love our donors! This month, we highlight how the Parents Fund supports diversity and inclusion resources on campus.

This year, the Parents Fund makes possible:
  • The Neurodiversity Summer Bridge Program – a weekend-long, overnight event that provides incoming neurodivergent students the opportunity to meet and socialize with other neurodivergent students while also providing tools and identifying resources that will assist in neurodiverse students’ transition from high school to college.
  • A President’s Council Retreat – twice per year, presidents of cultural organizations who are advised by the Center for Student Diversity meet to focus on organizational leadership, collaboration, marketing, and program planning. Additionally, monthly President’s Council meetings through the year help reinforce these key leadership skills.
  • Preparing for Life as a University Student (PLUS) – this program brings together student mentors with program participants through monthly workshops designed to help new students adjust to life as a college student.
  • Student Chinese Translator – with fluency in Chinese languages, this student assists in the creation of publications for distribution to Chinese families.

Please make or renew your gift to the Parents Fund today and help us reach our goal of $1 million by June 30, 2020. Your gifts help students grow personally, academically and professionally.
