Meet the Rev. Kathleen (Kathy) Dain. Kathy is an ordained minister with the Presbyterian Church U.S.A. and the Church of Scotland. She has recently returned from the U.K. and is looking forward to walking with us as our Interim Minister during this time of transition.
Kathy holds a bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism from Central Michigan University and Master of Divinity from Pittsburgh Theological Seminary. Prior to entering ministry Kathy worked in sales and television production. Her shift to ministry was featured in a 2013 Wall Street Journal article entitled: Leap of Faith.
Kathy has produced a number of short documentaries for mission organizations to help share their story. “Each of us has a story to share,” says Dain, “as Christians we are part of the greatest story ever told. I look forward to learning Tequesta’s story as we begin a new chapter in preparation for calling your next pastor.” Kathy, along with her mini-Schnauzer, Riley, will be joining us beginning October 1st.
