Garces Family,

Today is our first day of using the ZOOM app to continue all class sessions and student learning during the closure of our campus. Our number one priority is the safety and well-being of our students and their education. We ask for your patience as we work out all the kinks that may arise with the use of this virtual teaching platform, which is not only new for the students, but the faculty as well. If you have any issues or questions about how to use ZOOM, please email Shannon Campbell at scampbell@garces.org . She will either help or direct your issue to someone who can.

As a reminder, teachers will take roll at the beginning of each session and the normal attendance policy still applies. If students are unable to log on to a class session for any reason, an email from his or her parent needs to be sent to  Mrs. Burns  . Additionally, students are expected to maintain the same level of respect during their virtual classes as they would in a normal classroom setting.

We want to thank our teachers and support staff for all the time and work they have put in over the last week to learn ZOOM and prepare for the coming weeks.

On our website you will find the links to all the important support documents, including directions for students on how to use ZOOM, all teachers’ ZOOM ID numbers, the dress code policy and more.
