School Closed March 16 - April 3
The state of Michigan has mandated that all public and private schools remain closed starting Monday, March 16, 2020. We plan to resume school on Monday, April 6, 2020. During the next two weeks the teachers will post various assignments on their websites or through FastDirect on Sundays and Wednesdays. Please make sure to check in on those sites for details from each teacher. Mr. Lustila will send out phone blast messages as a reminder to check teacher’s postings. Mr. Schultz has already prepared written instructions and given them to his Confirmation class. Please continue to follow proper health and hygiene procedures while at home and when traveling about. As we move forward during these next two weeks please continue to pray for our community, state, nation, and world that this pandemic be overcome through our ever present, powerful, and loving God who always remains in control of all things. Let each of us rest assured that our loving Father will see us through this ordeal! Our school for this year comes from 1 John 4:7 - Let us love one another, for love IS from God. Let us take advantage of this time with our families to grow closer together in and through His love.

The St Paul Apparel Store Has Re-Opened.
The Apparel Store is open again until Wednesday, March 25th. Orders will then be ready for pickup on Friday, April 3rd. So, plan on visiting https://stpaullutheranchurch.itemorder.com and order your new St Paul logo wear directly on-line. A note regarding the men’s blue check long-sleeve shirt – you are now able to select the color embroidery you prefer on that shirt – blue tones or green tones. You’ll see that option when you order. Thanks to all who made purchases last November, we raised nearly $1,000 for the Ministry Center campaign. Purchase some great clothing items with our St Paul logo and, at the same time, help the Ministry Center from the profits on your purchases. Call the church/school office if you have questions.

Congratulations Mr. Garcia!
Our 5th & 6th grade teacher, Mr. Justin Garcia, will receive a Saginaw Valley State University “Heroes in Education Award” during a special ceremony at SVSU (event postponed). The SVSU College of Education recognizes alumni educators, like Mr. Garcia, for their outstanding work and commitment to inspire, impact, innovate, and be involved both at school and in the community. Thank you, Mr. Garcia, for your dedicated service here at St. Paul over the last 17 years. Congratulations!

Coronavirus Prevention
St. Paul will cancel all events that interact with other schools, including sporting events, until the end of April. This is effective immediately. This has been directed from the local public school districts and all our fellow Lutheran schools are following suit. Pee Wee basketball and volleyball will not continue.
Our Mission Statement
We will teach, experience, and share Christ’s love, equipping disciples
for a life-long faith walk with Jesus.
